Master List is now available
online
Students please
verify the FCAT retake list and
report to your assigned testing
room on October 6 & 7, 2008.
Parents we would appreciate it if you
ensure that your child attends
the testing sessions on the date
that he or she is required to attend.
If any student knows that they need
to take the FCAT retake test and
they are not on the list please see
Mr. Vazquez in the guidance
office as soon as possible.

Caribbean
Hurricane Relief Drive
Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High
school and the Art Gallery Club
is sponsoring a Hurricane relief
drive for the victims of the
past hurricanes that have
recently hit the Caribbean
islands. Please donate a can
good for these efforts. You may
bring a can good to room #133,
main building during school
hours. We appreciate all
students and community
participation in this relief
effort. For more information

The William I. Noble Art Gallery
Presents
THE
ENLIGHTENMENT SHOW
Each student has
prepared a self portrait
inspired by the American
photorealist painter Chuck
Close. This artist became wheel
chair bound during the middle of
his career and was able to
persevere in spite of these life
changing obstacles. Each student
has designed a background
inspired by things that
enlighten and inspire them to
pursue their goals. The gallery
is located on the main floor
across from the gymnasium.
Please inquire in room 133 to
enter the gallery during school
hours.

FCAT TESTING NOTICE
To all testing students
and parents
Please
be advised of the
following state testing
rules:
You may not have any
electronic or recording
devices at your desk,
clipped to your belt, in
your pocket, or anywhere
you can reach them
during testing, even if
they are turned off or
you do not use them. If
you are found with any
electronic devices
during this test
session, you will be
dismissed from testing
and your test will not
be scored. If you
violate any of these
rules, your electronic
device will be
confiscated, and you
will be dismissed from
testing and will not be
allowed to complete the
test.
There are NO exceptions
to these rules.
Thank you for your
compliance and for
keeping you electronic
devices at home on

2008-2009 academic school year.
New School Hours for
H-ML during the 2008-2009
academic school year will be
from 7:30am-2:25pm
Our Uniform
policy will still be in full
effect.

To all students and parents: Dress
Code Policy
Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High is a
mandatory uniform school. All students are expected to
wear the selected
uniforms everyday. TOPS: Collared polo shirt in white,
royal blue, or orange. BOTTOMS: Long pants to ankle in
khaki or blue jeans. Absolutely NO shorts, skirts, cut
offs or capri pants. SHOES: Closed shoes only-sneakers,
loafers or boots. Absolutely NO flip flops, thongs, or
open sandals. Students not wearing their uniforms
are subject to disciplinary actions. |
