H-ML Parents

We are committed to providing every means possible to increase parental involvement with our H-ML's parent community. Parents will benefit by having more access to teachers via technology and community support resulting in a well rounded educational experience for our Trojan students.

School Uniform Policy

Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High Parents voted during the 2004-2005 school year to become a uniform school. This policy went into effect August 2005. Ever since our students wear uniforms to comply with the mandatory school uniform policy. Any parent that has a specific question concerning the uniform policy please inquire at the school.

Uniform Colors

Polo Shirt: White, Blue, or Orange

Pants: Khaki pants or blue jeans

Shoes: Any color, no sandals or open shoes.

Tips For Parents

-Encourage your child to study at home at least one hour a day.             -Teach your child to set goals.                                                                          -Discuss with your child how learning in school helps with everyday life. -Send your child to school well rested and having had breakfast.               (or eat in school)                                                                                                  -Reinforce learning at home, in the community and on vacations.           -Provide your child with basic needs such as proper diet, clothing, and school supplies.
